Internet Advertising Competition Awards launched

Online advertisers and website marketing agencies are invited to enter the annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards.

Hosted by the web marketing Association, the IAC Awards are the first and only industry-based advertising accolades dedicated exclusively to online advertising.

Awards will be presented within each of the industry categories and advertising formats including for online ads (including banner, pop-up or interstitial), email messaging, integrated ad campaigns and websites.

William Rice, president of the web marketing Association, said that winning awards was a great way for ad organisations to demonstrate their creative potential.

"We created the IAC Awards to highlight the best in this unique advertising medium by industry," he added, "and also to help advertising professionals validate their efforts to clients and senior management."

Now in their eighth year, the awards are open to all organisations and individuals involved in internet advertising, and the deadline for entry is January 29th, 2010.

The Web Marketing Association was founded in Boston in 1997 by internet marketing, advertising, PR and design professionals with the aim of setting a high standard for internet marketing and corporate web development.
